Create the Campaign
In the admin panel, tap "New Campaign". Enter the campaign name, write a compelling description explaining the need, set your target amount and deadline, upload a cover image, and configure payment methods and transparency settings. Takes under 5 minutes.
Publish and Collect Donations
Publish to the community feed with a push notification. Members see the campaign, read the cause, and donate with one tap via UPI, card, or net banking. Instant receipts go to every donor. The progress bar updates in real time as donations come in.
Close and Report
When the campaign ends (or the target is reached), close the campaign and publish a final financial report to all members — total raised, number of donors, and how the funds will be/were used. This transparency builds trust for the next campaign.

What payment methods does Mera Samaj support for donations?
Mera Samaj supports UPI (all UPI apps including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), net banking, debit/credit cards, and wallets. All transactions are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. International donations via credit card are also supported for diaspora members.
Is every donation transaction visible to all community members?
The campaign progress bar and total amount raised are visible to all members. Individual donation amounts can be set to public (visible to everyone), anonymous (only admins see the amount), or named-only (members see the donor's name but not the amount). Admins configure transparency settings per campaign.
Does Mera Samaj provide receipts for donations?
Yes. Every donor receives an automatic digital receipt via email and in-app notification immediately after payment. Receipts include the campaign name, donation amount, date, transaction ID, and the community's name and address. For registered trusts and Section 80G entities, receipts can include the requisite details for income tax deduction.
Can we set a fundraising goal and deadline?
Absolutely. Every campaign has a target amount and end date. A real-time progress bar shows members how close the campaign is to its goal. When the target is reached, the campaign automatically closes and a success announcement goes to all members. This creates urgency and encourages timely donations.
